E & J Sandwich Shop Opens in Delray

If you’re a fan of Deck 84 and the string of Burt Rapoport restaurants, you’ll be happy to know that Burt has just opened up a new place — E & J’s Sandwich Shop. Located at 814 E Atlantic Ave, E & J’s was named after the operating team — Executive Chef Jon Greening from Deck 84 and General Manager, Eric Clark. E & J’s is more casual than Rapoport’s other concepts and brings an all-around sandwich shop to Atlantic Ave.

You can now enjoy this casual cuisine anytime of the day, as E & J’s will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night. For those looking for a new breakfast spot, E & J’s will offer a variety of dishes like Granola & Yogurt, Oatmeal, Egg Sandwiches and Pastries. Come lunchtime, you’ll be able to nosh on hot and cold sandwich creations like Burt’s favorite sandwich — “The Burto’s” made with oven roasted turkey, roast beef, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing. Other highlights include a French Dip, a B.L.T., Kosher Bologna Sandwich and Sausage & Peppers.

Prices range from $4-$6 for breakfast and $6-$12 for lunch and dinner. E & J’s will be open from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 am until 2:00 am on Friday and Saturday.

  1. The only reason to go to Deck 84 is the view and the deck; why would anyone want to eat their food without that?
