Review of the Nutri Ninja Auto IQ and a Recipe

Nutri Ninja Auto IQ

When I make my way through the aisles of Whole Foods Market, I always seem to discover a myriad of goodies. One of my new favorite finds is a raw, organic and cold pressed juice from Juicera called Watermelon Fresca. With every sip, comes a taste of summer — and from my very first sip, I was hooked.

Juicera

This was where my watermelon kick began.  And now, I’m seeking out watermelon in every form — from salad to salsa to watermelon mimosas — and getting creative in the kitchen. Ah, all for the love of food.

So a couple of weeks ago, I came home to the surprise of a large brown box at my door. Excitedly, I opened the package and found a brand new Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ inside. Yes, the big fancy one that breaks down whole foods, ice and seeds and extracts the nutrients and vitamins. Now my job was to test it out and play — and make some tasty concoctions.

Nutri Ninja Auto IQ

From broccoli soup to mocha banana shakes to fruit smoothies to trail mix in a glass, this new addition to my kitchen, was like a blender on steroids. It quickly blended, pulsed and restarted itself, no matter what I put inside — a nice upgrade from my Ninja® Master Prep® Pro System. Ok, I’m a little biased towards Ninja, but if it works, why change it?

5 reasons why I’m hooked on the Nutri Ninja Auto IQ

  1. This machine has power. Although it’s a bit noisy at time, it does break down the food items inside in a matter of seconds.
  2. The Nutri Ninja has Pro Extractor Blades to maximize the extraction of vitamins and nutrients .. yes, health comes first.
  3. The Auto-iQ Technology makes your life easier. After putting the food in the cup to mix, the Ninja pulses, blends and pauses to readjust the food inside so you don’t have to. Say good-bye to opening the cup and manually mixing up the ingredients.
  4. It comes with multiple cups for blending (12, 24 and 32-oz), ensuring that you’ll have the perfect one for your needs. When you’re done with the preparation, just flip the cup over and it’s ready to go.
  5. The Nutri Ninja Auto IQ is easy to clean. The blade comes out from the center making it easy to spoon out the ingredients with a spatula and clean it out.

The added bonus — It makes me eat more fruits and vegetables. From the moment I received the Nutri Ninja, I immediately wanted to play and this new toy of mine now helps turn my lonely fruits and vegetables into a nutritious mid-day snack.

Now, for a light and refreshing beverage for you to enjoy, and for one that fulfills my craving for watermelon — here’s a recipe for The Watermelon Cooler.
