Wine lovers gather near, as the results of the 10th Annual American Fine Wine Competition have been released. This annual competition brings together wines from over 230 wineries across the United Chance to vie for the title for Best of Show. 24 of the hottest names from South Florida in the wine industry gathered together at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management on January 15 & 16 and after tasting 850 wines, they determined the winners of this year’s American Fine Wine Competition.

The wines entered into the competition will be featured at the 10th Annual AFWI Charity Wine Gala, taking place on Saturday, April 29 at DCOTA, located at 1855 Griffin Road in Dania Beach. The gala will feature a sparkling reception, the wine walk, winery tasting rooms, dinner (with over 800 wines being poured), a live auction, silent auctions, live entertainment – and proceeds will go to benefit The Dolphins Cancer Challenge.
