Smith & Wollensky Launches a New Sunday Brunch Menu

Continue your New Year’s celebration with a trip to Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach on New Year’s Day to sample their newly launched “Weekend has Arrived” brunch menu. This menu — created by S & W’s Corporate Chef, Matt King — will make it’s debut on January 1, 2013 and continue to be offered on Saturdays and Sundays from lunch until 4:00 pm. This sumptuous brunch menu will feature both morning and lunchtime favorites.

Highlights from the menu include Pastrami Salmon Benedict made with sliced house-cured salmon with poached eggs and Dijon hollandaise served with marble rye toast (pictured above); Braised rib hash & Poached eggs served with au poivre sauce; Cinnamon French Toast made with thick cut Brioche bread, soaked in sweet cinnamon custard and topped with dark rum flamed bananas and caramel; and more. These items will be served in addition to everything on the regular menu.

Brunch cocktails pair up nicely with these featured dishes and include the Engine Starter (Svedka Vodka and Cintron Tropical Azul Liquid Energy); Blood Orange Mimosa (Thatcher’s Blood Orange Liqueur and Ruffino Prosecco); and Gazpacho Bloody Mary  (Effen Cucumber Vodka, Absolut Peppar and Gazpacho). You can see the complete menu here.

The weekend brunch menu will be available at all locations, except at the New York location.

Smith & Wollensky is located at 1 Washington Avenue at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach; (305) 673-2800
