Flavors of Fort Lauderdale

What’s better than being wined and dined on a gorgeous South Florida night? A whole weekend of it, of course — and that’s what lucky festival goers experienced this week at Flavors of Fort Lauderdale. This inaugural celebration gave visitors a taste of the area. Gourmet bites, fine wine and spirits — all presented in plentiful amounts — were enjoyed by the attending food and wine enthusiasts.   The weekend began on a formal note with a variety of wine dinner taking place throughout Fort Lauderdale. Shula’s on the Beach, SAIA, Dos Caminos and more presented menus that would please any palate.

Things turned around and the energy kicked into high gear when the party moved to the Las Olas Marina for Flavors After Dark (featuring five fabulous females) and the Grand Tasting event. Guests enjoyed culinary demonstrations, gourmet bites, fine wine, refreshing beverages and more — all while enjoying the live entertainment. Lucky VIP ticket holders had access to the VIP Yacht and finished off the weekend in style.

Money raised during the event helped support Feeding South Florida.
