Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a Culinary Twist

For a hip St. Patrick’s Day, in the heart of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, head on over to The Office. This modern American gastropub will offer two a la carte holiday-themed menu specials — which will be available all day from Friday, March 14 – Monday, March 17, 2014. The regular, a la carte menu, will also be available during lunch and dinner.

You can feast on Executive Chef Bryan Ramos’ yummy Grilled Reuben Sandwich, which is served with French fries, as well as Corned Beef and Cabbage. Additionally, you can celebrate the holiday by enjoying half-off of Jameson Irish Whiskey shots, Irish Car Bomb shots, and the Electric Lemonade cocktail — served at the indoor and outdoor bars — from Saturday, March 15 through Monday, March 17, 2014, throughout the day and evening during these three days.

Looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an Asian twist? Then head to Coco Asian Bistro & Bar in Fort Lauderdale.  From Friday, March 14 though Monday, March 17, 2014, Coco will offer delicious holiday-themed a la carte food specials, along with some creative holiday cocktails. St. Patrick’s Day decorations, and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Consider the Corned Beef Roll (with green shiso leaf, asparagus, scallions, and fried shallots); the Green Vegetable Roll (with wakame salad, avocado, tofu, green shiso leaf, asparagus, palm paste; and the St. Patrick’s Day Roll (with shrimp tempura, avocado, wasabi tobiko, tempura flakes, and spicy mayo) — all three are, wrapped in green soy paper. The Korean Beef  — with a choice of green miso soup or a salad, —  is served with kimchee and green jasmine rice. Yummy desserts include the Green Pandan Waffle (with fresh kiwi, green tea ice cream and kiwi sauce), and the Green Tea Ice Cream Parfait (with green pistachio macarons and kiwi sauce).

Specialty cocktails include The Irish Appletini (made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, apple liqueur, Midori, fresh lime juice, and sour mix) and the Irish Shot (made with Midori, Jameson Irish Whiskey, and Baileys Irish Cream).

Chef Mike will also be giving away six, $50 gift certificates to his restaurant, on Monday evening, March 17, 2014. BTW, the regular a la carte menu, with Thai dishes, and sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls, will also be available throughout these four days.
