Spice it up on Halloween with a Great Cocktail

You have your costume and your candy — all that you could possibly need. But wait, what about the cocktails? — a very important part of this annual day of celebration. Because we don’t want you to miss out, we’ve collected some cocktail recipes that you can enjoy at local restaurants on Halloween or make them from home.

 

The Jack O’ Lantern Martini at SAIA

Ingredients:

1  oz Jack Daniels
¾ oz FireBall Whiskey
1 ½ oz Pumpkin and Cinnamon Infused Simple Syrup
½ oz Whipped Cream

Method: Shake in a mixing tin over ice and pour into a martini class. Garnished with a gram cracker rim, dollop of whipped cream & a light dusting of cinnamon

Pumpkin Pie Julep

2 oz Alibi American Whiskey
1.5 oz homemade pumpkin butter (see below recipe)
1/2 oz orgeat syrup
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

Shake vigorously with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass or hollowed pumpkin.Garnish with a slice of pear, a cinnamon stick and a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Ghost Flower Margarita

1800 Silver Tequila
house-made hibiscus syrup
Cointreau orange liquor
finished with a floating flower
