An Afternoon of Indulgence at Boca Bacchanal

If you’re always on the lookout for a wine event that stands above the rest, we probably clinked glasses over the weekend at this year’s Boca Bacchanal. While we weren’t able to attend the entire weekend of festivities, we did spend quality time at the Grand Tasting Event, which offered us an afternoon of indulgence.

Whether it was food or wine that piqued your interest, the Boca Bacchanal was not to disappoint — and we, among many others, were eager to strategically plan out our route for the day. Piper -Heidsieck, Cakebread Cellars, Silver Oak and Darioush — and that was just the beginning, as over 140 wines were served at the event. As we made our rounds, we discovered some new wines, savored our tried and true — and tasted gourmet bites from the top restaurants in the area. We couldn’t get enough of the Andalusian Gazpacho with chilled seafood ceviche from Chops Lobster Bar; Florida Stone Crab from Truluck’s; and the Linguine and Clams from Nick’s New Haven.

Boca Bacchanal is now in it’s 12th year and profits raised go to benefit the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum.
