Healthy Yummy Doggy Treat from Dishes For Dogs and Jugofresh
This exclusive dog treat is available only at, DISHES FOR DOGS’ recently opened store in Wynwood and select jugofresh locations. Miami’s first canine kitchen, Dishes For Dogs, has partnered with the local cold-pressed juice hotspot to create the treat, Peanut Butter and Greens (PB&G).
As Foodies with dogs, for companionship and to eat our leftover doggie bags, we were delighted to learn about healthy grain-free products and their sources for our beloved, but grain-sensitive pups.
PB & G is a bite-sized delight made with fresh, plant-based ingredients. The treat is cooked up at Dishes For Dogs’ state-of-the-art kitchen, used human-tested and canine-approved ingredients, including house-made peanut butter, dehydrated apples, organic virgin coconut oil, organic spinach pulp, organic carrot pulp, organic beet pulp, hemp seeds and organic ginger pulp.
The ginger pulps are upcycled from jugofresh’s juice leftovers, which utilizes would-be waste product that still contain nutritional benefits. As with Dishes For Dogs freshly prepared meals, no preservatives, additives, artificial flavors, fillers or animal by-products are used to make the treats.
“We collaborated with jugofresh to create a unique and nutritious dog treat,” said Dishes For Dogs owner Michael O’Rourke. “It took a lot of trial and error to create the Peanut Butter and Greens, since dogs don’t typically crave veggies, but when we nailed the formula our furry taste testers approved.”
Dishes For Dogs’ veterinary consultant Dr. Justin Shmalberg helped formulate the treat, ensuring the highest nutritional benefits possible.
