Meat Market Set to Open in Palm Beach on September 29

Meat Market … oh, the memories we’ve shared. For those who have been following us for awhile must surely remember our series of happy hour events (yes, when we were doing 3 a week). We had some great times and were spoiled with deliciousness  — and our very first Miami event took place at Meat Market back in July of 2009.  Since then, we can’t stop drooling over their inspired menu — especially their decadent Gouda Tater Tots (seen above).

Oh, how times have changed, but our quest for mouth-watering cuisine has not and we were thrilled to hear some time ago that Meat Market was soon to make Palm Beach it’s second home (there’s also a location on Lincoln Road). Although time has passed and passed some more, we are excited to announce that Meat Market is set to open on September 29, 2014 at 191 Bradley Place in Palm Beach.

This chic and classy restaurant — that will soon be the place to see and be seen on Palm Beach Island — comes to us from restaurateur David Tornek and Chef/Co-Owner Sean Brasel. They’ve worked together to make sure that this is not your “average” steakhouse, but one that offers innovative cuisine that will appeal to both men + women and with artfully prepared dishes. On the menu you will find composed dishes, prime meats, seafood and raw bar offerings.

In the kitchen, you will find chef de cuisine, David Valencia, who previously worked under Top Chef-alum, Chef Hung Huyng, opening up Catch in New York and Catch Miami Beach. While the menu will be similar to Meat Market Miami, there will be signature items unique to Palm Beach including a stylish Crudo Bar; Ceviches; Appetizers like White Truffle Kobe tartare; Asian BBQ Lamb Ribs; a Maine Lobster Roll and daily alternating charcuterie selections.

You will also find Meat Market’s signature prime cut steaks with house made sauces; fresh fish dishes like the char-broiled branzino with rustic tomato + fennel stew; luscious side dishes (be sure to try the decadent Gouda tater-tots); creative cocktails and desserts.

Meat Market will offer their take on Happy Hour, with a variety of bar plates available from 4-6 p.m. daily. Items from the bar menu include the oyster po boy; a buffalo cheese steak; lobster pigs-in-a-blanket; and fig and prosciutto flatbreads.

Meat Market is located at 191 Bradley Place (in the building previously occupied by The Palm Beach Steakhouse). When they open, they will be serving dinner nightly, but are planning to add lunch service, come December. For reservations, call (561) 354-9800.
