If you’re looking to schmooze with Palm Beach County’s hottest chefs this summer, we have plans for you. Just clear your calendars on Wednesday nights and head to Max’s Harvest in Delray Beach, as it’s time for the über-popular Chef vs. Chef series to return.
This weekly summer event – now in it’s second year – brings together some of the top chefs in the county for some friendly competition. The throw down begins with 16 chefs who are arranged in a tournament bracket (a draw party was held last week). Each week two chefs go face-to-face in hopes of winning the best of the night and moving on to the next round.
The competition is based on more than just the chef’s cooking skills, but rather a combination of their cooking skills, presentation and the chefs ability to think quickly on their feet and take mystery ingredients and turn them into something magical.
Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to mingle with other foodies; take plenty of pictures; enjoy food and drink specials; and cheer on their favorite chefs. Selected judges will be the ones tasting and rating the dishes, so unfortunately, you won’t be able to taste what they are making.
The weekly events take place on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. for 15 weeks starting on June 22, 2016. Cost to attend is a $5 donation, which will benefit the Milagro Center.
