West Palm Beach ‘Pairings’ Returns on May 28

It seems like every city around us has their own food and wine festival and downtown West Palm Beach is home to ‘Pairings.’ This annual progressive dining event takes you on a food and drink tour through downtown West Palm Beach. Now in it’s 4th year, this years ‘Pairings’ event will take place on Thurs., May 28, 2015 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and a portion of all proceeds will go to benefit The Historical Society of Palm Beach County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and furthering the education and appreciation of Palm Beach County history and heritage.

Now, what’s on the plate for this year’s event? Guests will enjoy a sampling of food, wine, beer and cocktails from participating restaurants. Highlights on the menu include: Meatballs paired with a traditional Italian cocktail from Lynora’s Osteria, peanut butter oatmeal bars and brownies from Subculture Coffee, chicken skewers and a pomegranate mojito from Leila Restaurant, chicken marsala and pizza with wine from Clematis Pizza, Bahamian conch fritters topped with spicy aioli sauce paired with a Bahamian Pusser’s Rum painkiller from E.R. Bradley’s and more. Other participating restaurants include: Hullabaloo, Off the Hookah, Longboards, Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, O’Shea’s Irish Pub and more.

In additional to the tasty food and drinks, guests will enjoy live music and art classes for those want to get their creative juices flowing.

Cost for this event is $25 for advance tickets or $30 for tickets purchased on the day of the event. Advance tickets can be purchased by visiting the DDA office located at 301 Clematis Street, Suite 200. On-site tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the ticket booth in the City Hall Courtyard located at 401 Clematis Street. Each ticket includes samplings at each of the participating restaurants and a map showing where they are located.
