Title: The 163 best Paleo Slow Cooker Recipes
By Judith Finlayson

The Paleo diet may come from the old, but author, Judith Finlayson, brings out new and amazing flavors with this easy to follow cookbook.  Judith uses an easy to follow system in describing the steps to success, and many of the recipes include clear and colorful pictures of the finished meal.  This makes a great combination in deciding on the ingredients to be used, and the size of the meal.  And, many of the recipes have directions for cutting the meal in half, should there be a smaller audience of these mouthwatering dishes.

As this cookbook is focused on slow cookers, Judith takes time in the beginning to review tricks and tips to successful slow cooker meals.  There is guidance in areas from food safety to beautification of the ingredients.  These were very helpful for both new and experienced chefs, and worth the cost of the book for anyone who enjoys the convenience of slow cookers.

The Table of Contents breaks the cookbook into sections based upon the course, and even gets down to the level of various proteins for the entrée.  It also has a section on creating the condiments and accompaniments for a fresh Paleo diet.  The book reviews the ingredients it considers to be Paleo. For those looking for simple Paleo recipes to your diet without having to slave away in the kitchen all day, this cookbook will be a welcome addition to your selection.
