Chinese New Year at TALDE Miami

Ring in the Chinese New Year with TALDE at The Confidante Miami Beach for a night full of celebrations on Saturday, January 28,from 8 PM to midnight. Guests can enjoy some of Chef Dale Talde’s favorite Chinese dishes in his special four-course prix-fixe dinner, for $49 per person. Mouthwatering dishes from the Top Chef alum will include Hot & Sour Soup, Eggrolls, Fried Rice, Kung Pao Beef and Peking Duck.

The often-extended seven day holiday follows the Chinese lunar calendar, and always starts with a new moon. The Chinese New Year has evolved into celebrating the start of a new business year and wishes for profitable success. Holiday traditions include eat dumplings for prosperity, setting off firecrackers for good luck, and the giving and receiving of lucky money in a red envelope.

A special Good Luck Rooster cocktail – Beefeater Gin, Pineapple, Lime, Angostura Bitters. This good luck drink will be available all night for $12. Plus, Chinese New Year giveaways will be offered to the first 50 guests participating in the prix-fixe menu.
