Description:

Phuc Yea Brunch

Join us on Sun., May 28 for a boozy brunch at Phuc Yea! Taking place on Memorial Day weekend (think — no work the next day), guests will enjoy a Vietnamese-inspired, Cajun-influenced brunch menu created by Chef Cesar Zapata. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a specialty cocktail, and then, sit down to enjoy a family-style brunch. In addition to the special menu being prepared for the group, guests will enjoy bottomless mimosas — and you can’t go wrong with that.

Phuc Yea! – recognized as Miami’s first pop-up when it opened up for three months back in 2011 – opened it’s doors in a permanent location in Miami’s MiMo District in the fall of 2016. The restaurant is the brainchild of Chef Cesar Zapata and wife/partner, Ani Meinhold, who you may remember from The Fed (or The Federal, as you might know it) – and upon opening, quickly was noted as being one of the best new restaurants by both Urban Daddy and Eater.

Cost is $55, if purchased by Friday, May 26 or $60, thereafter, if space is available.  This includes a welcome cocktail, bottomless mimosas, a 3-course brunch menu, tax and gratuity.

Jean-Claude Boisset Wine Dinner Review

The Jean-Claude Boisset Wine Collection came to South Florida to host several special events. We were fortunate to be invited to a Jean-Claude Boisset wine dinner at the superb French bistro Pistache, in downtown West Palm Beach. The amazing evening was hosted by the charmingly modest Grégory Patriat, winemaker extraordinaire at the Jean-Claude Boisset winery. The artisan Burgundy producer is located in Nuits St. Georges in the Bourgogne (Burgundy) region in eastern France.
