This annual event brings together some of the top chefs and restaurants in the area. Add in some wine, spirits and a little friendly competition —  and you’re set for the ultimate seafood experience.

Friday, Oct. 21 – Chef Showdown
Time: 7 – 11 p.m.

Get ready for some friendly competition at 9th & Ocean in GOYA’s Culinary Pavilion. 12 of the top chefs in the area will compete against one another in hopes of coming home victorious. While members of the media will be the judges, the guests at the event will also have an opportunity to vote. Each guest will go around and taste the competing dishes and place a token next to their favorite dishes. Chef Andre & Tyler Bienvenue (Joe’s Stone Crab); Peter  Vauthy (Red, the Steakhouse); Chef Dustin Atoigue (Mondrian South Beach); Chef Xavier Torres (Drunken Dragon) and Chef Bernie Matz (Bodega South Beach) will all be there to defend their title.

In addition to the Chef Showdown, Herradura Tequila will be hosting a cocktail competition. 

Your ticket in includes samples from the competing chefs, an open bar, access to the full raw bar, a sensory garden (and wine) experience, samplings from the bartender competition and more.

Eat your heart out at the 4th Annual South Beach Seafood Festival, taking place at Lummus Park (7th and Ocean). 17 of the area’s hottest restaurants will feature pop-up cafes on the sand in a four block area. Think – Joe’s Stone Crab, Naked Taco, Red, the Steakhouse, Drunken Dragon, Naiyara, Toro Toro, Truluck’s and more. In addition to the food items being offered, wine and cocktails will be available.

General Admission tickets offer you a pay-as-you-go experience. These tickets will get you into the festival; access to the open bar, Jack Daniel’s Beach Club, Main Stage LIVE and Whole Foods Demo. Food items, priced between $5-$10, will be available for purchase.
